Accordant Group Limited (AGL) advises succession plans

The Board of Accordant Group (AGL) advises its plans for Board and senior management changes through a yet to be finalised transition period.

Firstly, as indicated last year, founding Chairman of the Group, Ross Keenan, will step down during the 21/22 Financial Year End.

Secondly, Simon Bennett, current Chief Executive, will join the Board as an Executive Director.

Commenting on the transition of leadership, Ross Keenan notes that he had, on several occasions, expressed the view that the Group's bright future lay in the hands of a generation shift and that he was delighted to advise of this plan now being implemented.

Major shareholder and Non-independent Director, Simon Hull, confirmed his support for the transition process and his ongoing commitment to the growth and diversity of the Group. He noted that the recent appointment of Independent Director, Laurissa Cooney, to the Board, had signalled the first step in the generation shift of governance.

A new CEO is in the process of being recruited and we expect to advise details of this key appointment shortly.

The Group also advises that it expects to finish the 20/21 Financial Year with a strong balance sheet and intends to announce results in the last week of May 2021.

Ends
