A2A joins the Nasdaq Sustainable Bond Network, a platform on sustainable finance that brings together investors, issuers, investment banks and specialist organizations.
This is according to a note from the Lombard utility.
Joining will allow the group to connect with a wide network of potential international investors attentive to sustainability issues, the statement adds.
"As confirmed by the recent update of the business plan, our strategy has among its objectives to increase the share of sustainable finance to over 80 percent by 2030," stressed CEO, Renato Mazzoncini.
