The board of directors of A.Plus Group Holdings Limited informed the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary assessment of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the year ended 31 March 2023 and the information currently available, the Group is expected to record a significant increase of not less than 40% in the profit attributable to owners of the Company for the Current Year as compared to the profit attributable to the owners of the Company for the year ended 31 March 2022 of approximately HKD 11.8 million. Based on the information currently available to the Board, such increase is mainly attributed to an increase in reversal of impairment loss of trade receivables of approximately HKD 4.3 million as compared to the amount of approximately HKD 2.6 million for the year ended 31 March 2022; and the receipt of government subsidies of approximately HKD 2.1 million in the Current Year pursuant to the Employment Support Scheme for retention of employment and to combat the novel coronavirus (the "COVID-19") pandemic.
