The U.K. Debt Management Office plans to launch a new July 2034 gilt through syndication in the week starting June 10 subject to demand and market conditions, it said Friday.

This will be the second syndication by the DMO in the fiscal year 2024-25. The DMO planned two syndications between April and June 2024, a new long conventional gilt maturing in the 30-year area in the week commencing April 22, 2024, and a 10-year conventional gilt in the week starting on June 10, 2024. The timing of both transactions are subject to demand and market conditions, it said.

The DMO raised GBP6.3 billion ($8 billion) through the first syndication held on April 24.
