BERLIN (dpa-AFX) - A new supply agreement gave a boost to the shares of the radiation and medical technology group Eckert & Ziegler on Tuesday afternoon. The papers turned up significantly and climbed at the peak by about four and a half percent , making them one of the best performers in the index of smaller company stocks SDax.

The Berlin-based company said it had signed an agreement with U.S. company Pharmalogic to secure the supply of Actinium-225 (Ac-225), a therapeutic radioisotope used in cancer treatments. Financial details were not disclosed./tav/he
