Tangiers Petroleum Limited (ASX:TPT) explores oil and gas resources in Australia and in the Kingdom of Morocco. It holds interest in the Tarfaya Offshore Block located in the Kingdom of Morocco; 90% interest in WA-442-P and NTP/81 exploration permits located in the Bonaparte Basin offshore in the Northern Australia; and 80% interest in ATP-587-P Cooper/Eromanga basins in the onshore Queensland.

("NSAI") on Tangiers Petroleum's initial four Jurassic-aged prospects established an un-risked best estimate prospective resource of 867 million barrels of oil and a high side of 4,959 million barrels of oil.

TPT is the Operator and owns a 75% interest in the Block, with the Moroccan government (OHNYM) being carried for its 25% interest through individual exploration programs. OHNYM retains the option to convert to a 25% working interest in any hydrocarbon pool that is developed. The Tarfaya Offshore Block includes the La Dam, Assaka, Trident, Tarfaya Marin-A and Zeus and Little Zeus Prospects.
