PlayOn, the media server software from MediaMall Technologies that streams your favorite online videos to your TV and mobile devices, will unveil today at the Pepcom Digital Experience show in Las Vegas PlayCast by PlayOn for the Xbox One, which is the first solution to bring Chromecast-like casting functionality to Xbox One users. PlayOn will also be showing its new PlayOn browser user interface. The updated PlayOn browser extension gives Roku, Xbox 360, Chromecast*, and now Xbox One users the ability to cast, record, and bookmark high definition online videos from their PC to watch on their TV.

PlayCast by PlayOn gives Xbox One users the exclusive ability to cast external online videos to their device. With PlayCast by PlayOn, users can find online videos on their PC, send it to their device and watch on TV in real time. A mobile device may also be used as a remote control to find and "send" videos from the device to a TV. Simply find a video via the PlayOn mobile app and then "send" it to your TV. PlayCast by PlayOn in HD is the next step in creating a quality streaming experience. Current HD PC-to-TV casting capabilities can be choppy, slow or fuzzy; however PlayCast by PlayOn in HD creates a seamless TV-casting experience from the browser of your choice including Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera.

The new PlayOn browser user interface combines three PlayOn features - PlayCast by PlayOn, PlayMark and RecordTo - into a new, user-friendly interface. When users find an online video, they can use the PlayCast by PlayOn function to immediately cast the video from their PC to TV. Users may also bookmark online videos to watch later on their TV with the browser's PlayMark function. PlayOn users with PlayLater can use RecordTo. This function allows users to select shows on the PlayOn mobile app to record and watch later on a mobile device or TV.

"We have expanded our video casting capabilities from Chromecast, Roku and Xbox 360 devices to now Xbox One. Currently, PlayCast by PlayOn is the only way to cast video from a PC to Xbox One." said MediaMall Technologies president and CEO Jeff Lawrence. "We spent the majority of last year listening to our users, building better media experiences with PlayOn and PlayLater and expanding video casting ability to popular devices. We want to continue innovating in 2014 and look forward to rolling out this new PlayOn browser interface to our users."

PlayOn will be demoing PlayCast by PlayOn for the Xbox One, the new PlayOn browser interface and the company's recently announced HD functionality and Chromecast beta support on January 6th (tonight) at the 2014 Pepcom Digital Experience show, preceding the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show. For more information on PlayOn, PlayMark or PlayLater, download the media kit at www.playon.tv/press_kit or visit www.PlayOn.tv.

*PlayOn and PlayCast by PlayOn support for Chromecast will not be available until Google releases the official SDK for Chromecast. All demos and features are based on the currently published preview SDK.
