Diageo announces the sale of Pampero rum to Gruppo Montenegro, an Italian company specializing in high-end spirits.

Pampero, a Venezuelan brand with 85 years of history, is the number one rum in Italy and has a strong presence in Europe.

This sale will enable Diageo to focus on what the company considers its core areas.

A transition services agreement has been established to ensure a smooth transition.
