Platte is Director of Global Equity Trading at Rainier Investment Management LLC.
He joined the firm in 2007.
He is responsible for seeking to obtain best execution, leveraging his extensive knowledge in customizing and integrating Order Management Systems and Execution Management Systems.
Mr. Platte industry experience began in 1996 as a portfolio accountant with Scudder Kemper Investments in Boston, MA.
He continued in 1998 with Westpeak Global Advisors, Boulder, CO, where he was responsible for trading across small-, mid-, and large-capitalization stocks.
He is a past officer and current member of the Pacific Northwest Security Traders Association and National Security Traders Association.
He is also a member of the ICI Market Structure Advisory Committee.
He has over 20 years of investment experience.
He received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University.
