He subsequently spent a number of years in proprietary energy and equity derivatives trading in US with Susquehanna Investment Group, Eon and Duke Power.
In 2002, he joined Baker Steel Capital Managers to work as a Fund Manager of the Genus Natural Resources Fund and Genus Energy Fund with sole investment responsibility for the energy sector.
In addition, he was a Portfolio Manager on several long-only products, including the Genus Dynamic Gold Fund.
