Mr. Scott Samet is Vice President at Wells Fargo Alternative Asset Management LLC.
Mr. Samet formerly served as Chairman of Wells Fargo's Mutual Fund Selection Committee, and was a primary developer of Wells Fargo's methodology for screening and selecting third-party mutual funds- controlling over $4 billion in mutual fund assets.
He joined Wells Fargo in 1999.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Samet was Senior Manager and Product Manager at Charles Schwab, where he was instrumental in developing and launching a full-service defined contribution retirement plan product for large corporations that has become one of Schwab's most strategically important institutional products.
He has also operated his own business consulting firm.
Mr. Samet has a B.A.
in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and an MBA from San Francisco State University.
