Robert Beck

Robert Beck has been Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Fox Chase Cancer Center since September 2001, Deputy Director of the Population Science Department since January 2006 and a Director of IDM Pharma, Inc. since August 2005.
From October 1992 to August 2001, he served as a Director for the Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library, where he was Chair from July 1998 to August 1999 and Interim Executive Director from August 1999 to August 2001.
From August 1992 to September 2001, Dr. Beck served as a Professor of Pathology with the Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as a Professor of Family and Community Medicine from July 1997 to September 2001.
Previously, he was Vice President for Information Research and Planning for the Baylor College of Medicine from July 2000 to September 2001 and Vice President for Information Technology from August 1992 to June 2000.
Since July 1999, Dr. Beck has served as an Adjunct Professor of Health Informatics with the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center.
Since March 2000, he has served as a Director for RosettaMed.
From July 1997 to June 2000, Dr. Beck served as a Director for VidiMedix Corporation.
Dr. Beck received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Dartmouth College in 1974 and a Medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1978.
