Kalevala Koru designs, produces and retails gold, silver and bronze jewelry. It is the largest jewelry manufacturer in Finland and one of the largest in Scandinavia. The corporation employs 230 people and its annual turnover was € 22 million in 2006. Kalevala Koru has grown remarkably in August 2005 it acquired the shares of an other well-known Finnish jewelry company. Lapponia Jewelry which is the leading jewelry exporter in Finland. Both companies operate now in the same premises in Helsinki, but continue as their own, independent brands.
