Okon Asuquo Ansa

Okon Asuquo Ansa is currently a Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Uyo.
He previously held positions as Chairman at Akwa Palm Industries Ltd.
and Ibom Power Co. Ltd., Non-Executive Director at UPDC Plc, Director at Adc Airlines, Head of Academic Departments & Units at Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Calabar, Member of the Commissioner Board at the State of Akwa Ibom, and Member of Akwa Ibom Investment & Industrial Promotion Council.
He obtained his doctorate degree from the University of California, Davis in 1983, and his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ahmadu Bello University in 1974 and 1977 respectively.
