Lyndon B.
Cole has been an Executive Vice President of Celanese Corp.
since December 2004, President of Technical Polymers Ticona since April 2003 and the Head of the Celanese AG Growth and Excellence Council since April 2003.
Dr. Cole is Vice Chairman for the Board of Management of Celanese.
He joined Celanese AG in March 2002 as President for the Chemicals Business Unit.
Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Elementis Plc from 1998 to 2001 and General Manager of Global Structured Products for GE Plastics from 1990 to 1998.
He held various general management and commercial positions with GE Plastics, Dow Chemicals Europe and ICI.
Dr. Cole received a BA degree in Chemistry and Microbiology in 1975 and a PhD in Physical Chemistry in 1978 from Reading University.
