Mr. Dienes is a partner of the law firm TroyGould and a trusted advisor to boards, senior management, investment banks and investors in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, equity and debt financings, and business operations.
He has represented businesses, investment banks and investors in more than 150 private offerings of securities, including preferred stock offerings, convertible debt offerings and offerings of partnership and limited liability company securities as well as acting as U.S.
co-counsel in foreign private offerings of securities, with substantial experience in advising private investor groups and angel investors.
Mr. Dienes is widely recognized for his experience in transactions involving rights in technology and other intellectual property and is the coauthor and executive editor of the two-volume treatise Intellectual Property in Business Transactions (University of California 2008).
He is a member of Pasadena Angels since 2005.
Mr. Dienes received his J.D.
in 1994 from Stanford University and his A.B.
in 1990 from the University of California at Berkeley.
