Profile

Justin Punch joined Archer Capital in 2001 following a career in operational management.
Justin is a director of Australian Geographic and was responsible for Archer Capital’s John West Foods investment from acquisition to exit.
Before joining Archer Capital Justin co-founded (in 1999) and managed Australian e-tailing pioneer The Spot, which was sold to David Jones in June 2000.
Prior to this he spent eight years with transnational food company Simplot, where he was Executive General Manager of the $270 million Retail Frozen Foods Division, with operational and strategic responsibility for brands such as Birds Eye, Four ‘N Twenty, Nanna’s, Herbert Adams, I&J, and Sealord.
Prior to this he was Executive General Manager of Simplot’s $160 million Shelf Stable Foods Division, covering brands such as Edgell, Leggo’s, Harvest and Plumrose.
From 1989 to 1991, he was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in Australia.
Justin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW.
