A native of Portland, Oregon, Mr. Wood has been a leader in the commercial real estate industry since 1967.
His ability to build lasting relationships with the region's major developers, owners and tenants resulted in his promotion to partner of Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 1971.
In this capacity, Mr. Wood oversaw the office and retail divisions of the company.
During his commercial real estate career, Mr. Wood acted as the exclusive representative for a large number of high-profile, Portland Metro CBD projects.
This lengthy list includes the Georgia Pacific Building, First Interstate Bank Tower, Orbanco Building, 1515 Building, The River Forum, KOIN Center, Bank of America Financial Center Building and ODS Tower.
Mr. Wood graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science in 1962.
He is an active member of the Portland Metro Real Estate industry including The Counselors of Real Estate, BOMA, Oregon Association of Realtors, Washington Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Commercial Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers.
He is also an active civic partcipant with memberships to Waverly Country Club, Oregon Golf Association and Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.
