Joseph D. Stone

Mr. Stone is solely responsible for all portfolio and investment decisions.
He has over 10 years of portfolio management experience.
Most recently, as VP of Trust and Investments for United National Bank and Manager of United National Bank’s statewide Equity Common Trust Fund (1997-2000).
Before his association with United National Bank, he worked as an Investment officer with Huntington Banks and formerly held the position of Financial Consultant with Wheat First Securities and Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Stone holds a B.B.A.
degree from Marshall University, is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers and is a regular member of the Association for Investment Management and Research.
He has been authorized by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) to use the certification marks CFP™, certified financial planner™ and CFP (with flame logo)® in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.
Mr. Stone is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.
Joe is on the Board of FCNB Bancorp, The Raleigh County Chapter of the American Red Cross and The Jobs Foundation.
He has also served as the President of the Fayetteville Lions club
