Founded in 1979 as BBV Gestinova, the firm became BBVA Gestión in 2000 when BBV Gestinova and Argentaria Gestión merged and was rebranded as BBVA-AM in 2008. Established in 2007, the firm is based in Madrid and manages the BBVA Capital Privado FCR listed venture capital fund of funds backed by institutional and private investors. The fund's units can be bought through any institution or brokerage firm.
