Mr. Jorge M.
Ceron

He joined Lombard Odier in April 2011.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ceron was a senior analyst at CQS, covering financials on the credit and equity sides for the multi-strategy fund and the special situations fund as well as portfolio manager in charge of a EUR 80 billion long-only financial dedicated fund.
Previously, he was a vice president in the leverage finance investment banking department at Banco Santander from 2003 to 2005 and, prior to that, an associate in the mergers and acquisition department of Andersen.
Before that, Mr. Ceron was an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions team at JP Morgan.
He began his career as a financial analyst, supervising banks and other financial institutions at the Bank of Spain in 2001.
Mr. Ceron earned an Mphil in economics and finance from UNED in 2009 as well as an MBA in finance from the London Business School and a master’s degree in economics from the University of the European Union in Bruges, Belgium.
He also holds a master’s degree in accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CUNEF (Colegio de Estudios Financieros) in Spain.
