Joe Prendergast

Mr. Joseph M.
Prendergast is a Head of Financial Markets Analysis at Credit Suisse AG.
He is responsible for Financial Markets Analysis within the Investment Strategy department of Credit Suisse's Private Banking and Wealth Management division.
Based in Zürich, he manages a team of specialist analysts covering equity markets, fixed income, currencies and alternative investments.
He is a member of the Credit Suisse Investment Committee and the firm's cross-divisional Global Economics & Strategy Group.
He represented Credit Suisse at the European Central Bank's foreign exchange committee and Bank of England market consultation committee on research regulation.
From 1997 to 2007, he was Global Head of Foreign Exchange Research & Strategy in the Investment Banking division, based in London, with specialization in currency forecasting, portfolio management and derivatives strategy.
Mr. Prendergast holds an M.Sc.
in Economics from the London School of Economics and a B.A.
in Pure Economics from University College Dublin.
