Joan Kerley

The Franciscan Missionaries of St Joseph is an international Franciscan Roman Catholic missionary congregation for women. The non-profit company is based in Worsley, UK. The congregation lives in community and is currently working in various countries, including the UK, Ecuador, Uganda, and the USA. The British company evangelizes through their witness to the love of Christ for his people in ministries of teaching, nursing, and catechesis, social and pastoral work. The congregation is committed to promoting a culture of safeguarding in all of their ministries and is aligned with the Salford Diocesan Safeguarding Commission. Founded in 1883 by Mary Francis Ingham and Bishop Vaughan, it is a religious congregation of pontifical right.
