James Robinson Hedges

Mr. Hedges founded LJH in 1993.
He is currently a member of the Woodberry Forest Advisory Council.
Following an internship at the Chicago Board of Trade, Mr. Hedges earned a Master of International Management with a focus on Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management at the Phoenix, Arizona Thunderbird campus.
From 1991 to mid-1992, he lived in Paris and served as Director of European Sales for J.D.
Honigberg International, a Chicago-based global trading firm.
Prior to founding LJH Global Investments, Mr. Hedges founded and served as Managing General Partner for Challenger Capital Management, L.P., a multi-manager private family partnership investing in various alternative investments.
Concurrently, Mr. Hedges was associated with the economic research and consulting firm of A.B.
Laffer, V.A.
Canto & Associates in La Jolla, California.
He is presently a non-executive Director of The Capital Markets Company (Capco) in Antwerp, Belgium, and has passed the NASD Series 2,3,7 and 63 exams.
Hedges on Hedge Funds, authored by Mr. Hedges, was published in October 2004 by John Wiley & Sons and is being marketed worldwide as a leading title on the subject of hedge fund investing.
He is one of the most often quoted experts on hedge fund investing in the world and is often cited in financial publications including Forbes, Institutional Investor, The New York Times, Barron's and The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Hedges graduated from Woodberry Forest School in 1985 and from Rhodes College in 1989 with a dual Bachelor of Arts in French and International Studies.
