James Handley

As Investment Director I work as part of our investment team, focusing on developing new investment partnerships with exceptional growth companies.
I’ve worked across several investments and am privileged to be working with the exciting businesses and talented entrepreneurs that we partner with.
I currently work with the board of Hippo Digital and Container Solutions.
I have also worked with Infinity Works, DMW and Arrow.
In terms of regional focus, I grew up in the North and I return regularly to spend time in the North West and North East, developing and growing our relationships there.
Prior to joining GCP in 2017, I started my career at Ernst & Young on a degree scheme combining work and studying at Lancaster University.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant I worked in the EY Corporate Finance team across a range of transactions.
Away from the office I enjoy spending my time with family and friends and I try not to let my fitness and golf deteriorate further.
