Woori Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Wooriam) is the investment management subsidiary of Kiwoom Securities Co., Ltd. (SO: 039490) in South Korea. Founded in 1988 as Lucky Investment Advisory Services, the firm became a subsidiary of Woori Financial Holdings (NYSE: WF) in 2004 and merged with Woori Investment Trust Management in 2005. They were renamed Woori Crédit Suisse Asset Management in 2006 when Crédit Suisse acquired a minority stake and formed a joint venture with Woori Financial Holdings as the majority shareholder. In 2009 Crédit Suisse sold their interest back to Woori and the firm became Woori Asset Management Co., Ltd. In 2014 they became the wholly-owned subsidiary of Kiwoom Securities Co., Ltd. Wooriam is located in Seoul and provides investment trust and asset management services to South Korean high-net worth individuals, institutions and retail investors. They manage mutual funds with investment in Eastern Europe, Latin America, the US, China and Japan. They specialize in sector funds, hedge funds, retirement funds and blue-chip funds.

Kiwoom Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Kiwoom AM) is an asset management firm headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The firm was founded in 1988 as Lucky Investment Consulting Co. Ltd. and formerly known as Woori Asset Management. They became Kiwoom Asset Management Co., Ltd. in 2014 when Woori Asset Management and Kiwoom Asset Management merged. They are a subsidiary of Kiwoom Securities Co., Ltd. (KRX: 039490). Kiwoom AM provides a range of trust and mutual fund management services as well as investment management and consultancy.
