Mr. Gaurav Bamania is a Fund Manager at Thames River Capital LLP.
He joined Thames River Capital in July 2009 as a fund manager for the UK Absolute Income Fund.
Before joining Thames River , he worked as a quantitative research analyst and strategist for Helios Capital Management for 2 years.
Prior to that he was a quantitative trader at Morgan Stanley for 2 years where he was responsible for building and running statistical arbitrage and relative value strategies.
Previously, as a co-founder and chief technology officer of QuantFin Asset Management, Mr. Gaurav Bamania was responsible for building a systematic trading infrastructure and researching and implementing quantitative strategies focusing on the Indian Markets.
Mr. Bamania holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.
