Previously, he supported several other groups within Lucent and served as lead counsel for Lucents $500 million Year 2000 effort.
Prior to founding New Venture Partners, he worked at the law firm of McCarter & English, LLP, where he focused on the intellectual property and computer and high technology practice groups.
Mr. Futter holds an AB magna cum laude in Political Economics from Princeton University and a JD from the Columbia University School of Law.
