Formerly known as Horizons ETFs Management (Canada), Inc., the firm was founded by Adam Felesky in 2005 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mirae Asset Global Investments Co. Ltd. in South Korea. Global X offers a suites of exchange traded funds in Canada. Founded in 1996 by Bhim Asdhir, Excel Investment Counsel, Inc. is a mutual fund manager and investment advisor located in Mississauga, Ontario. The firm is a subsidiary of Sun Life Global Investments (Canada), Inc. Their ultimate parent is Sun Financial, Inc.
