Cobie Legrange

Mr. Cobie Legrange is Investment Strategist at ClucasGray Investment Management (Pty) Ltd.
He has spent the last 15 years in the investment Industry in South-Africa and joined ClucasGray in 2013 as Investment Strategist.
He is known for his economic strategy where he often intertwines social, behavioural and political aspects to form holistic investment strategies.
He has held a quantitative role in an investment team at PSG where asset manager research and market structure research was conducted.
He has held portfolio positions in fixed interest, small caps and the value silo at mCubed Asset Management, now Momentum Manager of Managers.
He has also been head of qualitative manager research where he was instrumental in developing the systems for understanding manager skill and how this translates to performance.
Before joining ClucasGray, he held a senior role in Acsis's Investment team, now Old Mutual Wealth.
Today he often liaises with clients and investors and helps them formulate investment strategies.
