Ms. Claudia Busl is an Economist at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
Since November 2008, she has been working as a researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).
At first, she worked in the Research Group "Growth and Business Cycles".
During this time she worked on national and international research and policy consulting projects and visited the University of Melbourne in Australia for a research stay.
Her research interests are in the field of international macroeconomics and in particular in the international transmission of the consequences of political reforms and of business cycle shocks, which is also subject of her thesis.
Since April 2014, she has been a researcher in the Research Department "International Finance and Financial Management".
From October 2003 to August 2008 Ms. Busl studied Economics at the University of Augsburg and the University of Trento, Italy, and completed her studies with the academic title of "Diplom-Volkswirtin".
In her thesis she investigated the influence of foreign activity of multinational enterprises on their activity at home employing panel data.
