Ms. Christina Leung, CFA, is Senior Economist & Head of Membership Services at New Zealand Institute of Economic Research, Inc. (NZIER).
She joined NZIER in February 2015 and heads up Membership Services, where she looks after NZIER’s economic forecasts and analysis of its Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion.
She has over ten years’ experience in the public and private sectors, having worked at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and ASB Bank.
At ASB Bank, she led the quarterly forecasting process, produced regular commentary on key economic and industry developments, and provided guidance to both internal and external clients on the economic outlook and financial market developments.
Ms. Leung holds a Bachelor of Commerce with first class honours in Economics from the University of Auckland, and has been a CFA charter-holder since 2010.
