Chris Pinkney

Mr. Chris Pinkney is a Managing Director & Head of Public Credit at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
He leads the Public Credit group and previously focused on fixed income programs in both Global Capital Markets and Short Horizon Alpha groups.
He was primarily responsible for the vanilla and structured credit portfolios, as well as developing cross-product strategies spanning equity, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and volatility.
Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, he spent over 12 years with TD Securities as part of the Credit Products Group, as well as three years with Price Waterhouse in Toronto.
He holds a BComm from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
He is a CFA charterholder and Chartered Professional Accountant.
