Caroline Folleas - Partner Caroline joined Mérieux Equity Partners in May 2021 as a Partner.
She spent the previous 13 years at L Catterton – a global Private Equity fund backed by LVMH and focused on the consumer space.
Previously, Caroline worked at BNPP for 7 years.
She spent 4 years in the leveraged finance large cap team in France and Italy where she worked on numerous transactions.
She also worked for 3 years in the trading room as a sales person of FX derivatives in the UK and Argentina, at the time of the Argentinian financial crisis.
She started her career in Germany where she worked for a year for an internet startup – mostly on fundraising.
Caroline graduated in 2000 from ESCP Business School and studied a year in Oxford and a year in Berlin.
Caroline is chairing Level 20 France – a pan European organization promoting gender diversity in the Private Equity industry.
She is also a member of France Invest’s Commission for Talent and Diversity, where she is leading all the outreach and mentoring efforts.
Caroline is also a mentor to several scholarship students as part of the organization Article 1.
