Prior to joining McKinley Carter, Mr. Gongaware was the President and Senior Relationship Manager of NetWorth Investment Advisors, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the firm, new business development, and served as a wealth advisor/client relationship manager.
Previously, he was a Vice President with Mellon Bank's Private Asset Management Group where he managed over $250 million of investable assets for high-net-worth individuals and families.
He also helped create the Private Investment Counseling Group, a group designed to work with client engagements of $2 million and greater.
Mr. Gongaware has a bachelor's degree in Financial Planning from Grove City College and an M.B.A.
in Finance and Management from Duquesne University.
He has completed the Certified Financial Planner licensing requirements, is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh.
He also holds board membership in the Baptist Homes Foundation, Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry, and the North Hills Community Baptist Church.
