Brian Mongeau

Brian conducts investment origination, diligence, and market analysis, and supports portfolio companies as Principal at First In.
His prior technology industry experience spans multiple functions to include product management, growth, corporate strategy, and sales operations.
Before First In, Brian worked at technology companies CrowdStrike and Convoy, and earlier, at Goldman Sachs.
He began his career as a U.S.
Army Green Beret with deployments to Afghanistan and across the Asia-Pacific.
Brian was selected by the Aspen Strategy Group as a 2022 Rising Leader Program fellow and is a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member.
He has guest lectured on strategy at the University of Michigan Ford School of Public Policy and has been published by War On The Rocks and the Harvard Belfer Center.
Brian received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
