The firm was founded in 2000 as a result of the consolidation of Bradesco Templeton Asset Management, BCN Alliance Asset Management, Boavista, BANEB, Credireal and Banco Bradesco´s Fund Management and Investment Portfolio departments. They are a subsidiary of Banco Bradesco BBI SA, which is owned by Banco Bradesco SA (BVMF: BBDC4, NYSE: BBD). The firm manages local funds that invest globally for Brazilian investors and, on the other hand, it manages management of Latin American funds for foreign investors. BRAM is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).

Sul América Investimentos Gestora de Recursos SA (SulAmérica Investimentos) is the asset management subsidiary of Sul América Investimentos DTVM SA, ultimately held by Rede D'Or São Luiz SA (BVMF: RDOR3) in Brazil. Founded in 2015, the firm is headquartered in Sao Paulo and manages assets for a range of clients such as pension funds, insurers, companies, financial institutions, family offices, brokers, distributors and high-net worth individuals. SulAmérica Investimentos is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) and seeks to incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance matters into their business practices.
