Mr. Anthony Garvin is a Managing Director at Burnham Securities, Inc.
Prior to joining Burnham, Mr. Garvin founded the Corporate Advisory Services practice at the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2005.
He joined RBS from J.P.
Morgan Chase & Co. where he had been Head of Middle Market Mergers & Acquisitions since 1997.
At JPM and its predecessors, he also spent time in the Merchant Banking, Leveraged Finance and Global Syndicated Finance Groups.
Mr. Garvin also has extensive experience raising equity, senior and subordinated debt for middle market companies, both public and private, including numerous transactions as a principal.
Mr. Garvin has executed transactions across a wide range of industries including aerospace and defense, apparel, consumer, retail, ecommerce, distribution, metals and mining and general industrial sectors among others.
Mr. Garvin graduated cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science.
He received his M.B.A.
with honors from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business where he was also a Fuqua Fellow and a recipient of the Xerox Scholarship.
