Multiple Party Branches Launch "Tree Planting Festival" Themed Activities

On the 46th National Tree Planting Day, several Party branches within ZTO initiated the "Lead the Way in Tree Planting" campaign, with over a hundred Party members participating and planting numerous saplings. This initiative underscores the company's active commitment to ecological construction, making positive contributions to local sustainability.

Green Packaging Practices

Featured in the People's Daily

On February 21st, the overseas edition of People's Daily highlighted ZTO's green

packaging practices. By improving the multi-layer packaging from brand clients, introducing a new snap-on hard paper box and special corrugated paper outer packaging, the packaging materials were substantially saved and the void rate was reduced to below 20%. The innovation reduced package

size, increased courier operation efficiency, and lowered costs for clients.

Privacy-enhanced Waybills		Women's Day Celebrations

On March 28th, ZTO successfully held the opening ceremony for the 2024 Staff Welfare Sports Event and the "Dream Fulfillment 1+1" Charity Education Program. The fund raised from the public welfare initiatives will continue to be used for the construction of Hope Schools and rural development in remote areas. Notably, ZTO has donated over RMB8.2 million in 2023, focusing on the provision of quality education and support for community development.

ZTO has proactively aligned with the recently revised "Express Market Management Measures" by the Ministry of Transport, which came into effect on March 1st, emphasizing on the quality and safety of express services. Jingxi Zhu, the President of ZTO, emphasized that through product and process innovation, the utilization rate of privacy waybill has exceeded 80%, reflecting the company's commitment to information security and service quality.

To celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, the headquarters and various management centers such as Guizhou, Shandong, Hebei, Shanxi, and Chongqing organized a series of events and prepared heartwarming gifts for their female employees. Notably, the ZTO headquarters launched a full-day event series centered on women's health, aimed at empower female staff to embrace their "she power," reflecting the company's support and respect for the development of its female workforce.

On March 1st, the Shanghai Stock Exchange announced that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Implementation Measures for Shanghai Stock Exchange for Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect", ZTO Express (02057) has been included in the Stock Connect, effective from March 4th, allowing eligible mainland Chinese investors to trade directly our ZTO Class A ordinary shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

On January 7th, at the "2023 Express Night" event organized by authoritative industry media platforms such as the China Post Express News, ZTO received a total of seven major awards, including the "Golden Parcel" Award, the Annual Contribution Award, the

Social Responsibility Award, the Express Development Award, the Technological Progress Award, the Terminal Innovation Award, and the Intelligent Driving Commercialization Award. Additionally, Chairman Meisong Lai was honored with the Express Charm Personality Award.

On March 20th, at the China Express Association Member Congress, ZTO was honored with the 2023 Contribution Award for Rural Revitalization, the 2023 Contribution Award for Emergency Support, and the Contribution Award for Employment Assistance to Disabled Individuals in Express Delivery. Additionally, three express delivery couriers from ZTO were awarded the "Kind-hearted Express Courier Honor Award."

ZTO Holds National Network Work Conference for 2024

On January 23rd, ZTO convened the 2024 National Network Work Conference at its headquarters in Shanghai. Over 7,800 employee representatives and 45 domestic and international network partners participated. Chairman Meisong Lai delivered a speech titled "Winning Respect through Victories," reflecting on the accomplishments of 2023 and laying out the objectives for 2024. ZTO's strategic focus will be on enhancing its core express delivery services, expand its ecosystem, establishing robust channels, reinforcing its development commitment, and fostering a sense of achievement, belonging, and happiness among entrepreneurs.

ZTO's Largest National Cold Chain

Hub in North China Established

On January 17th, ZTO Cold Chain's Hebei Province branch was officially upgraded to become the North China Management Center. Currently, the North China Management Center boasts a total warehousing area of 6,000 m2, making it the largest hub for ZTO Cold Chain nationwide. Following the Spring Festival, the number of departures for line-haul transportation will increase to 50, and the number of routes originating from the center will exceed 300. After the project's operation, a daily throughput of 4,000 tons will be achievable. This upgrade plays a crucial role in optimizing operational costs and enhancing transfer efficiency.

ZTO Purchases 30 Unmanned

Aerial Vehicles

In March, ZTO signed an agreement with Autoflight to purchase 30 V2000CG unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This model is the world's first eVTOL aircraft certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China for tonnage electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL), with a takeoff weight of 2 tons. It is suitable for low-altitude logistics, emergency material transportation and it is environmentally friendly and cost-effective compared to helicopters. Renqun Jin, the Vice President of ZTO Express, stated that the new model will overcome the traditional reliance of express logistics on airports and UAV payload limitations, and looks forward to its rapid trial to promote market development.

中通采购30架大型无人机

3 月 ， 中 通 与 峰 飞 航 空 科 技 签 署 协 议 ， 采购30架V2000CG无人驾驶航空器，该 机型为全球首款获中国民用航空管理局 认 证 的 吨 级 以 上 电 动 垂 直 起 降 (eVTOL) 航 空 器 ， 具 备 2 吨 起 飞 重 量 ， 适 用 于 低 空物流、紧急物资运输等，相比直升机 更环保且成本效益高。中通快递集团副 总裁金任群表示，新机型将克服传统快 递物流依赖机场及无人机载重限制的问 题，期待其快速试点以推动市场发展。
