On March 23, 2022, A division bench of the Bombay High Court on March 22,2022 set aside a single-judge order, passed in favour of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, in an appeal filed by its largest shareholder Invesco Oppenheimer. The division bench of justices SJ Kathawala and Milind Jadhav, while allowing a petition filed by the offshore investors, directed a status quo on the matter for three weeks, during which the company can challenge the ruling in the Supreme Court.
