Zebra Technologies Corporation will be showcasing solutions that enhance the shopping experience at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Annual Convention & EXPO in New York next week. These solutions provide intelligence about the shopper and goods they are looking for so retailers can respond quickly and deliver a more personalized, seamless experience. Zebra’s booth will also feature PartnerConnect partners who help retailers capture their edge by enabling them to deliver tailored shopping experiences for their customers. Zebra and its partners will display click-and-collect and real-time locationing along with SmartLens™, inventory and warehouse management solutions that provide better business insights, visibility into assets and optimize the fulfillment of in-store and online orders. Also, Walgreens, one of the nation’s largest drugstore chains, will demonstrate solutions that increase real-time inventory management and customer loyalty. Zebra will introduce two new data capture solutions at NRF. The next-generation, general-purpose DS9900 series of corded hybrid imagers is designed to improve the associate and shopper experience at the point-of-sale (POS) by facilitating fast, frictionless check-out across retail stores and quick-serve restaurants (QSRs). With a compelling design and one of the scanning performance in its class, the DS9900 also eliminates the need for multiple devices by including high-resolution image capture, an optional Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) tag deactivator, and a RFID reader model, lowering costs and streamlining workflows. Also, on display will be Zebra’s new rugged MC3300R series of RFID readers, first UHF RFID handheld solution with Android™ and designed to provide a performance edge for inventory management, order fulfillment, cross docking and asset tracking applications.
