The board of directors of Yanchang Petroleum International Limited reported that it expects to record a profit attributable to shareholders of the company for the year ended December 13, 2013 as compared to a loss for the corresponding year of 2012. The turnaround was mainly attributable to the substantial increase in the group's turnover as a result of the rapid growth of the refined oil business in the PRC. As the company is still in process of finalizing the annual results for the year ended 31 December 2013, the information contained in this announcement is only based on the preliminary assessment of the group's management accounts that have not been audited or reviewed by the company's auditors, and is therefore subject to change.

The company announced that it has recorded a turnover for the year of 2013 which increased by more than 1.5 times as compared to that of the corresponding year of 2012.
