Sunday, 27 January 2013: We want to reassure our Queensland customers that we are working hard to get new  stock to stores currently impacted by severe weather conditions. Despite delayed transport, due to road closures and  flooded rail lines, stock is getting through and is on its way to most impacted stores.

Please find below a list of impacted stores and an update on their current status:

Woolworths Bargara - this store is currently closed due to storm damage to the exterior of the building and the car  park. The store will remain closed until shopping centre management assess the site and deem it safe to reopen.

Woolworths Bundaberg (Hinkler Plaza) - this store is currently closed due to flooding in the car park. Additional staff  have been redeployed to the nearby Sugarlands store to assist with additional demand. We also have additional  stock en route to the store, subject to road access.

Woolworths Pialba (Hervey Bay) - this store has now reopened but some fresh stock has been lost overnight due to loss of power. We are currently working to get new fresh stock to this store, subject to road access.

Woolworths Biloela - this store remains open but is experiencing some stock shortages. Trucks were not able to get  through overnight due to road closures. Our operations and logistics teams have escalated this issue and are  currently working through options to get stock to the store.  New fresh and grocery stock has been delivered to our Yeppoon, Mackay and Rockhampton stores overnight.

We are also aware of a flood warning in Bundaberg and will work with local authorities and the community on  contingency plans. Our Gladstone (Boyne Island), Sugarlands and Biloela stores remain open at this stage but we will
continue to monitor the situation closely.  We will provide additional updates as new information comes to hand.

For further information please contact the Woolworths Press Office on 02 8885 1033.
