Wolters Kluwer has been awarded the Bronze Class Sustainability Award 2014 from RobecoSAM, as a part of "The Sustainability Yearbook" 2014. The Bronze Class achievement demonstrates Wolters Kluwer's continued commitment to sustainable business and strives for excellent sustainability performance.

"We are excited that our efforts to create and maintain a sustainable business have been recognized," said Roland Waardenburg, Corporate Sustainability Lead for Wolters Kluwer. "This award reaffirms our decision to focus on sustainable innovations, while focusing on customer needs and growing our business, was the right one."

In order to be included in the Yearbook, companies must achieve a score within 30% of their industry leader's score. Additionally, the companies whose score is within a range of 5% to 10% from the score of the Industry Leader receive the RobecoSAM Bronze Class distinction.

RobecoSAM also partners with S&P Dow Jones Indices to publish the globally recognized Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). In 2013, Wolters Kluwer was included for the sixth consecutive year.
