(TSX:WEW), a leading provider of vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, has been nominated for a Technology Impact Award (TIA) along with its customer, Vedder Transport, a leading BC based Food Grade transport company, in the category of "Best Adoption of Existing Technology".
Founded in 1994 by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA), the TIAs celebrate British Columbia's technology industry, acknowledging the innovative work that people and companies have achieved and contributed to British Columbia's thriving technology landscape.

This is Webtech Wireless' second nomination for a Technology Impact Award in the category of Adoption of Technology having won the award in 2012 for a solution implemented with customer Troyer Ventures. Winners of this year's awards will be announced at the Annual BCTIA awards ceremony, taking place on June 5, 2014.
