Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2019. For the fourth quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 31.994 million compared to USD 33.878 million a year ago. Net income was USD 15.536 million compared to USD 17.036 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.89 compared to USD 0.98 a year ago. For the full year, net interest income was USD 133.414 million compared to USD 132.290 million a year ago. Net income was USD 69.118 million compared to USD 68.432 million a year ago.
