Washington Bancorp : Trust Hires Santos as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager for Newest Branch on the East Side of Providence

Westerly, RI - The Washington Trust Company has hired Albertina Santos as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager for the new Washington Trust branch now open on the East Side of Providence, at 229 Waterman Street. Upon the opening of its new East Side location, Washington Trust now has a total of 20 branches throughout Rhode Island as well as one in Mystic, CT.
Santos has more than 20 years of banking experience, having held numerous positions within the Rhode Island market. She most recently served as Branch Manager for Bank of America's North Providence location. In her new role with Washington Trust, she is responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch, growing the bank's deposit base and maintaining Washington Trust's active role in the community.
