Berenberg - which had briefly placed its recommendation on SES-imagotag 'under review' - this morning reiterated its 'buy' recommendation on the stock, with a new target price of €215, up from the previous €175.

In its research note, the German bank believes that investors should be prepared for a resurgence of buying interest in the stock following the recent accusations made by the US Gotham fund.

In our view, the consensus does not fully reflect the margin-increasing nature of its penetration rate in a high-value-added segment, nor its growing market adoption, particularly in the US", explains the financial institution.

Its new price target shows a potential upside of around 73% compared with Monday evening's closing price.
