System with Push Notifications

The camera, model HSCARE2A, can be used for general safety monitoring of an aging parent or loved one, or for multiple other uses. Among the biggest dangers of an elderly loved one living alone include poor eyesight, medication management issues, poor nutrition, and home safety hazards. RCA's Wi-Fi HD Caregiver Camera enters the market to ensure quick action can be taken if something were to happen in the home.

RCA developed their Caregiver Camera to help seniors safely remain independent while giving family members and caregivers peace of mind. The key benefit of this system is the water-resistant remote that can be worn by the loved one. In case of an emergency, the remote can be pushed, triggering the camera unit to send a push notification to the caregiver's smart phone while also sounding an audible alarm from the camera, reassuring the loved one that the system was activated. From the app, the caregiver can quickly have an HD view inside the residence, pan & tilt the camera to find the situation, and have a two-way conversation directly through the camera's on-board microphone and speaker. The main caregiver can also grant permission to other app users so that multiple people can receive notifications and view the camera.

The Wi-Fi-enabled HD Caregiver Camera is equipped with night vision and the ability to record video and capture still photos with no monthly fees. The camera also includes programable sound, motion and temperature alerts to help caregivers detect emergencies. If high or low temperatures are detected, the camera pushes a notification to caregivers alerting them to a potential issue.
