VirTra, Inc. announced that it has appointed Steve Handel as Vice President, Program Management. In this new role, Handel will be responsible for managing the successful execution of various development projects. Handel joins VirTra with nearly 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Most recently, he managed weapons development at Axon Enterprise, where he led the development program for the recently released TASER 7 Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).
VirTra, Inc. is a provider of judgmental use of force training simulators and firearms training simulators for the law enforcement, military, and commercial markets. The Company's patented technologies, software, and scenarios provide intense training for de-escalation, judgmental use-of-force, marksmanship and related training that mimics real-world situations.
